Lakota East At Mason Baseball

I went into the Lakota East at Mason game a little differently than the other games this year.  It was my fourth time photographing both teams and I wanted to play a little.  I was there to photograph Senior Night introductions so the game was just a bonus.  At a previous game I met a parent who was asking questions about equipment and various other things.  Those of you who know me, you know I will talk all day long about photography which is why you probably do not ask anymore:)  We exchanged a few emails and I offered to let them try out some of my equipment at a game.  So for awhile I limited myself to one camera with a 70-200mm lens while I let them try out the 300mm on my other camera.  Gave a few quick tips and some basic instructions on how my camera works.  It was fun to share the game with them.  Below are a few of my favorites, all are available through the Game Images link above.  (only my images)

Preparing to block a ball in the dirt.

Pitcher fielding his position.

Catching a bad hop at first.

Pick-off attempt.
