Lakota West traveled out to Oak Hills last Friday for the mens basketball games. The Varsity game provided a ton of entertainment for the crowd that slowly gathered during the JV-B and JV games. The game came done to a last second shot after a few huge swings in momentum during the game. Oak Hills made a shot with just over 6 seconds remaining in the game. I was in position and with a little luck no players or refs got in the way and I was able to capture the play. During following time-out I made my way to the other end of the court to get an image of Lakota West’s attempt. The highly contested shot did not go in and there was instant celebration by the home crowd. Here are a few of my favorite images from all 3 games:

Fighting off opposing players to make the rebound.

Making the catch.

Cheerleader performing.

Defending against the dribble.

One way to split the defense.

Going for the slam.

What turned out to be the game winner.
