We welcomed a new family member yesterday. After much debate we decided to adopt a dog from our local dog shelter. Chloe was one of the dogs that caught our eyes on the first pass of the various kennels. She was one of the more subdued dogs but was listed as having high energy. Since I wanted a dog that could potentially run with me she was perfect. We played with her outdoors a little to make sure we all got along. Chloe is a mix of shepherd, retriever and lab. She is only 7 months old but already 28 pounds. Definitely a handful for me at times. We are having a lot of fun with her and even better, she seems to love us:)
