in Misc, Personal

I actually did pretty well with taking time off.  Just checked things in the morning to make sure there was nothing critical that I needed to address and then spent the rest of the day away from work.  Most of the vacation involved doing a whole lot of nothing.  Spent a lot of time just enjoying being with my husband.  We did have a list of projects we were going to work on but we put most of them off.  Actually feeling no guilt about it either.  We got to play like kids and took my nephew to see the trains at Entertrainment Junction.  Even found a place for lunch that serves peanut butter sandwiches and milk since that is what he wanted.  Bonus is we all got cookies for dessert!

I can honestly say I think I watched more TV the past week than I have the entire year.  We had a stack of DVDs to watch and of course there was a lot of college basketball games.  I only made him watch a little football since it is not his favorite sport.  Friday was the most relaxing day as I put on my flannel pants and a sweatshirt and did not leave the house all day.  Definitely not something I get to do very often unless it involves being sick.

Feeling re-charged and have managed to get through everything from my time off.  Thanks again to everyone for waiting patiently until today for responses.  You are all the best!

I hope everyone had a great Holiday.  Here is to a great week.  And hopefully no snow, just not ready for it yet.
