Lakota East At Lakota West Soccer

Every time East plays West you can throw out all the season statistics.  The players and fans have a little extra energy for these games.  Because of all the rain we had during the week the game got moved to the new turf field.  While I normally like having a grass field I was thankful the game was moved purely for lighting reasons.  The turf field is much better lit than the grass field.  Plus I stayed mud free:)  Even with the not so great weather the play did not disappoint the fans that came out to cheer the teams on.  Below are a few of my favorites from both the JV and Varsity games.  All images from the game can be seen by clicking the Game Proofs link above.

Getting a foot in to block the pass.

One way to knock a player off the ball….

and then try to get up to continue playing.

Seriously, I want this hat.  It has to be warm.

I think that is a tie on the header.
