I finally made the switch to Mac. For years other photographers have been telling me I really need to move from a PC to Mac because of the great graphics control that a Mac provides. The speed will be faster and I would be happier. My laptop has been slowing dying and was reaching the end of its useful life after 3 years so I started my research on Macs. I kind of knew what was out there but I still had a lot of questions. So I put a request out on Twitter for opinions and Brad from MacTown in Dayton got back to me. All the employees were very knowledgeable and there was not pressure for me to purchase anything. They gave me their opinion on switching and what kinds of things I might run encounter. So after much thought over lunch with my husband I decided to make the switch. I am still learning the ins & outs of the Mac and truthfully still setting it up. All those little things that you really do not realize you use on a daily basis still need to be setup but I least can use all my photo editing software. And this post was done on my Mac.
Thanks again to MacTown and the people on Twitter!
