I had a great weekend photographing so many different things. Friday morning started with a 2010 Senior Rep session and ended with a baseball game. Saturday had 2 lacrosse games on the schedule. Sunday was a day in the office catching up on emails and paperwork. Even got to work on some images from a session on Thursday that I will finish up first thing in the morning.
But I am still thinking about a game on Saturday. It seems like there is always something from whatever type of session that I wish would have turned out differently. Not that the session was bad, there is just one thing (normally tiny) that just kind of annoys me because I should have done something else instead of what I did. Below is an example of what I mean. I have great lacrosse game images but there is one from the first game that still bugs me. I focused on the shooter instead of the defense. And what happens? The person on defense makes a great play, the ball goes right into his stick instead of being a shot on goal. Now, I would have been happy if the shooter had made the goal because then I would have focused correctly. So instead I have this great play but the defender is out of focus so it goes into my pile of rejects. Yes, I know not everyone is perfect but I these are the kinds of images that bug me from a game. Next time I will focus on the defender and the shooter will score
I hope everyone had a great weekend. Enjoy the image of my incorrect focus spot. I will eventually move on and not let the image annoy me so much.
