The early days of Spring means baseball season. It also means keeping a close eye on schedules as the weather tends to make them change almost daily if it rains. The JV game to be played on the 26th got moved to the 27th because of rain. Knowing the field at East, I know that all the surrounding area tends to get very muddy when it rains. So I dug up my not so nice pair of jeans and my mud boots. Good thing I did as I was dirty and wet as soon as the game started. The game was a preseason game between the two teams. I also used it as my preseason. It has been awhile since I photographed baseball so wanted to get back in the swing of things before the regular season started. Apparently it was preseason for one of my cameras as well and it decided that it wants to start the season on the DL. It suffered a sprain 2 innings into the game. Pulling out my backup camera I continued to photograph the game. Since I was there to get practice before the season I made a few phone calls between innings to setup a service call. Not exactly the way I want a season to start. Luckily all the players managed to stay healthier than my camera and performed throughout the entire game. Here are a few images of the East JV team:
