I promised you swimming and here it is. Swimming is a sport I have a lot of fun photographing and have spent a lot of time learning how to photograph the sport. Yes, I do tend to get pretty wet but that does not bother me at all. Trying to keep my equipment dry is my biggest concern. That and not ending up in the pool myself. It can get pretty tight around the edge of the pool during a meet so I try my best to not be the one right at the edge. Thanks to all the swimmers who willingly moved out of my way so I could photograph their teammates. Here are some of my favorites from the day:
I like the overall image of a relay race. A swimmer finishing while the next one dives in plus the cheering.
How I wish there was a way for me to above the pool for the backstroke.
